AMCP executive board members Kathryn Makay and Anna Shuber, and previous executive board member Angelina Bella attended AMCP Nexus this past week in National Harbor, Maryland. They were able to network with current professionals in the managed care and pharmaceutical industry, and well as meet students from other schools. By attending educational sessions, they furthered their clinical and practical knowledge. Some hot topics this year were biosimilars, digital therapeutics, and the Inflation Reduction Act. Through attending the annual Managed Care Residency and Fellowship, the attendees were able to meet with the current residents and their program directors at nearly all post-graduate programs in the field.
