At the University of Pittsburgh, we are fortunate to be surrounded by leaders in the field of health-system pharmacy. In an effort to highlight these leaders, and to provide insight into the many careers available to students interested in health-system pharmacy, SSHP has created a new initiative. Each month, SSHP will highlight a “Clinician of the Month” that represents one of the many facets of health-system pharmacy.
This month, we have highlighted Dr. Jennifer Pruskowski, a Pain & Palliative Care Clinical Specialist. Dr. Pruskowski will help to kick-off our new program by providing a clinical talk on Wednesday, January 20th. The January edition of the “Clinician of the Month” article highlighting Dr. Pruskowski’s career will be distributed on Wednesday at her presentation.
