Membership Benefits:
The Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SSHP) is the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy’s student affiliate chapter of PSHP and is a nationally recognized ASHP-SSHP organization. The student chapter provides opportunities for students in hospital and clinical pharmacy education, residency and job preparation, public service, and financial planning. Our chapter also holds multiple residency panels and the annual Clinical Skills Competition, where the winning team will represent PittPharmacy at the national Midyear Clinical Meeting. On a state and national level, students have the opportunity to serve on committees, be granted scholarships, and be provided with funding for the annual ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting, the country’s largest residency showcase.
